Dwijen Banerjee: The Man Behind Debco Pharma’s Success
Mr. Dwijen Banerjee, is an Indian Entrepreneur in the field of Feed Supplement Industry in
Animal Healthcare. He is the founder managing director of DEBCO PHARMA PVT LTD,
established in 1998 with the hope to make it big in the industry. His humble and proactive nature
has given this company a unique identity in this industry.
His early schooling was in Delhi and later part of his education was in Kolkata. He has done his
Bachelor of Science and later on Bachelors in Pharmaceutical from Kolkata. After completion
of his education he started managing his business (Chemist Shop), namely “BANERJEE
PHARMACY” which has completed his 80th year in 2012. “BANERJEE PHARMACY” is one
of the prestigious and heritage chemist shop in South Kolkata and has celebrated its Platinum
Jubilee in the year 2007.
He has started his professional career with “Nestle” followed by “Sarabhai Group” and later
launched “Tetragon Chemie” in East Zone. In the year 1998 he has left his service life journey
and started animal health feed supplement distribution and marketing. He is now assisted by his
only son, Mr Gaurav Banerjee (Bachelor of Science & MBA- Marketing & Finance), one of the
Directors of the company.
